Q: We can see the character in Crawl or Roll play mode is flicker. How do you decrease this?
A: This is because TV standard is interlace, so user can change the speed in Roll or Crawl to 4 and over, it can decrease the issue. The situation on an LCD might be improved.
Q: Some character or graphic doesnt show up in the animate mode.
A: In the animate mode, all characters or graphics want to show up in TV need to add the animate group. So user wants to show up the character or graphic in TV, they need to add DISPLAY animate group in the character or graphic.
Q: Can we jump some specific page to play in the PLAY mode?
A: No, base on the limitation of CG-100, we can do this in the PLAY mode, and if user want to play the specific CG page, we can use mouse to point the page and start the PLAY mode.
Q: How user can move BAR or rectangle to the specific location easily?
A: User can use Grid mode to improve this problem. Grid mode can control each object moving by following 5 pixels or 10 pixels per unit.
Q: For some specific colour in character and outline, we can easily see some black gap or dot between the outline and character.
A: This is TV limitation that causes this issue. Don’t use pure red, green and blue in character and outline at the same time. This issue doesnt happen on an LCD TV.
Q: For some specific angle, the user can see a saw-tooth pattern is easy to see.
A: This is TV limitation that causes this issue. If the user observes this issue, they can increase the thickness of the outline which should help.
Q: How do you delete the picture in the CG clipboard?
A: CG-100 has no delete function for use in the CG clipboard. But we support LOCK and UNLOCK function to make sure the picture in clipboard will not be deleted. While the picture is in LOCK mode, it will not be over write any more, and even CG-100 is rebooted it will not be deleted also.
Q: While we activate CG-100, we can see the white or green flash in the TV for an instant, how can you solve this?
A: This issue happens in the SDI card control ability. Before CG-100 is activated in PC, SDI card is controlled by PC, so after CG-100 be activate, SDI card need to reset. If user can stop SDI to output to TV before CG-100 be activated, this issue can be avoided. For example, CG-100 co-work with SE-800; if we activate CG-100 and then press Ext CHROMA key in SE-800 to activate extend chroma function, this issue can be avoided.
Q: How many CG page we can add in a VCG file?
A: Basically, it has no limit, it all depends on how much size of RAM in your PC, but we don’t have any comment for advice customer to create maximum CG page. But if you have PC operation delay or character can’t show up well in time, maybe customer should open a new VCG file for their CG pages.
Q: How big size of the image we can add in the CG page?
A: Basically, it has no limit, but we advice the image size should not over 640*480. Because while the image is 640*480 it will fill all TV screen.
Q: What is required for authorisation?
1. Serial number must be keyed in; use of the DEMO key will not allow the window to show up.
2. Deck Link Card must be installed and working.
3. The PC should already be connected to the Internet.
4. No firewalls (software or hardware) should be blocking the CG-100 application
Q: How do you call up the authorisation window in the CG-100 application?
