The CTTL98S is a 14.8V, 98Wh Lithium-ion V-Mount battery that will run for 3.3 hours at 30W. The CTTL98S uses high quality A grade Sony, Sanyo and Samsung cells and will power all broadcast video cameras including Sony XDCAM, Panasonic P2, Digital Betacam and Betacam SX. The CTTL98S will also power JVC prosumer cameras such as the JVC 251 and the Sony EX3 (via a Bebob COCOEX3V).

CityTek batteries can be charged using the CityTek CTC2KS Portable Li-ion V-Mount Dual Battery Charger or the CityTek CTC4KS Portable Li-ion V-Mount Quad Battery Charger. Also, CityTek batteries are fully compatible with other manufacturer's chargers such as the Sony BP series.

Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) air transport rules

CASA has just updated the rules for transporting Lithium-ion (Li-on) batteries on Australian planes. The new rules came into effect on 1 January 2009:
