The Datavideo CKL-100 is a combination of a dual colour (green & blue) LED ring and a unique retro-reflective backdrop cloth (RF-3025), which is embedded with tiny glass beads which reflect the light from the LED ring.

The dual colour LED ring is particularly useful if your key is set up to green and someone turns up wearing green. With CKL-100 you simply switch the LED colour to blue and continue keying.

The 3m wide x 2.5m high unique retro-reflective backdrop will even allow you to get away with having the odd crease line. The whole system is extremely quick and easy to set up.The LED light ring is mounted on the lens of the camera, and projects a highly directional green or blue light on the backdrop cloth. Thanks to the embedded glass beads, light is then projected back to the camera creating a perfect green or blue background, providing you with an excellent keying result with very little set up required.

Note:
The CKL-100 LED light ring lens size is 72mm. Cameras such as the Sony Z1P and Canon XL2 have a 72mm lens and do not require an adaptor ring. If your camera has a different sized lens, click here for the third-party ring MVG adaptor ring range.

The CKL-200 is similar to the CKL-100 in all respects except that the retro-reflective backdrop is divided into 2 parts for easier handling and is treated with a fire retardant.

Also, the RF1225FP cloth is designed with flame protection and is not compatible with the RF-3025 that does not include flame protection. The RF1225FP has a different reflection rate to the RF-3025 so these two cloths should not be used together.

Also, this material may be difficult to X-Ray because it can reflect light so please be careful when flying.
