Azden RED represents a breakthrough in wireless. Instead of the normal radio waves that other wireless systems use, Azden RED uses invisible light beams in the infrared range. Through the use of infrared you will no longer be plagued by outside interference. RED's enhanced performance assures you of the finest in audio clarity and reliability. The specially selected high-frequencies provide you with trouble free performance, even in fluorescently lit rooms. Like all infrared, Azden RED will not operate correctly outside in the sunlight. In the real world, the ability to use multiple systems in the same location without frequency interference will prove to be a tremendous benefit to you. Using infrared means that the audio generated in your room stays in your room. Your discussions cannot be overheard on other systems in other rooms. Designed by professionals - for professionals, Azden RED will provide you with years of worry-free, high-quality performance.

To increase the working range of the Azden RED system, up to three external sensors can be added. The IRD-10J external sensors are powered by the receiver and can be plugged into the External Sensor Inputs on the rear panel of the IRR-10 and IRR-23 receivers. To increase the range even further, the transmitters can be set to Hi power mode. This increases the effective working area from 110m² in Lo power mode, to 150M² in Hi power mode. Hi power mode reduces the transmitter's battery life by around a third.

Note:

• The IRN-10 works with the IRR-30, IRR-30P and IRR-15 receivers
• The IRN-15C and the IRH-15C work with the IRR-40 and IRR-40P receivers
• The IRH-15C works with the IRR-40 and IRR-40P receivers
• The IRR-15c(N) and the the IRN-15C are not compatible

Can I use the six channel IRR-106 receiver with a IRR-40P dual channel microphone such as the IRH-56, IRN-20 or IRN-30?
Yes, the IRR-106 receiver and the IRR-40P dual channel microphones are compatible with each other.

Can I use a IRR-106 system for the bigger classroom? I need four microphones and would like to add more microphones later on.
Yes, the IRR-106 system is ideal for the job. This system allow you to simultaneously transmit up to six microphones. A typical set up could include IRN-20 (CH1), IRN-30 (CH2) and IRH-56 from channel 3 to 6. Please note, the IRN-20 is fixed on CH 1 and the IRN-30 is fixed on CH 2.

Can the IRR-40 work with the IRN-10 and IRH15c?
No. Please refer to the Infrared compatibility chart for more details.

Is the AMC-3 charger still available?
Yes, the AMC-3 charger is available and is designed to to charge the battery in the IRH-56 hand held microphone.
