The Azden IRR-15PKG3X is a
single channel standard infra-red package with a IRR-15
receiver, a IRN-10
infra-red pendant transmitter with a built in microphone and a IRD-60
external sensor.
Infra-red is perfect for classroom audio because it cannot penetrate
walls and is line-of-sight. This means that a school can have as many
classrooms as desired with individual audio systems, without fear of
interference. And in today's RF saturated world a regular (VHF or UHF)
microphone system risks interference from variety of other devices and
sources. Cell phones, radios, TV, PA systems, police and emergency
service systems can all interfere with VHF and UHF, but not with IR.

Included Components
IRR-15 receiver
The single-channel IRR-15
has the same
basic features as the IRR-23, but with only one channel, and is for
those on a budget. Later you can add a second receiver on another
channel and get the same results as the IRR-23. |

IRN-10 Infra-red Pendant Transmitter
The Azden IRN-10 is an
infra-red pendant transmitter with a built in microphone that works with
the single channel IRR-15 receiver and the IRD-60 external sensor. The
optional Azden HS-12 Headset Microphone or the Sony EX-503 Lapel Mic can
also be used with the IRN-10 transmitter.

IRD-60 sensor
In
most classroom situations, a single well-positioned IRD-60 external IR
sensor pro-vides complete classroom coverage. Mounting is easy, and the
sensor is connected to the IRR-30P receiver with standard coaxial wire. |

Note:
The Azden IR-CS Infrared Wireless Microphone and Ceiling Mounted Speaker
System for Classrooms (Ceiling Mount Speakers) are not available in
Australia because they are not CE or C-Tick approved.
Also, Azden has phased out the BC-29, AMC-3 and AMC-002
transmitter chargers.
