| Power for the People (and their camera gear..) One thing that is constantly overlooked on location shoots is the quality of the power supplied to the production gear. Most gear operates best when fed with a constant, regulated 12 volt supply. Voltage variations as little as 10% can see unwanted brightness and contrast changes on monitors, wireless gear behaving erratically, and - if the voltage spike is over 16 volts - even complete failures in some camera systems.
